Submission Formats

Submission Formats

Working Papers (Full and Short)
We encourage participants to submit full and short papers (4-10 pages) for commentary and discussion on the seminar. Accepted papers will be circulated as drafts and presented at the seminar. Authors will receive communal feedback to refine their work. Seminar comments will be recorded and shared with participants. Selected contributions will be invited to submit revised and extended versions to the associated ACM Games Special Issue. Authors may also consider other suitable publication venues.

Extended Abstracts
We also encourage participants to submit shorter and less refined contributions as extended abstracts (1-3 pages). Accepted abstracts are given shorter presentation slots, to provide space for discussion, comments, and feedback to guide the later submission for ACM Games Special Issue or other venues selected by the authors. Participants may also treat this format as a way to call attention to potential co-authors and collaborators.
